| Abstract: | Four models of organizational stress were comparatively reviewed using seven metatheoretical criteria. This evaluation revealed that while some models have been very useful in integrating previous bodies of empirical research, there's still room for improvement in terms of both internal and external criteria. To improve conceptual developments and methodological robustness in this field of organizational behaviour, 3 major recommendations are made. |
