Abstract: | A research program is surveyed which is concerned with health-damaging and health-promoting conditions in the psychosocial work environment of male and female white-collar workers. Volvo was chosen as a work site where 60 healthy, non-smoking clerical workers took part in the study.All groups showed a moderate increase in cardiovascular and neuroendocrine activity at work. But after work female managers seemed to unwind more slowly. |
