Abstract: | Human resources professionals spend a considerable amount of time interacting with government agencies. In some companies, fact-finding conferences and administrative hearings demand as much effort as other human resources functions. To be fully prepared, the professional must take a comprehensive look at the system. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Office of Occupational Safety and Health Administration, state employment offices and other regulatory agencies affecting employment relationships were established as an attempt to prevent or correct the ills of industrialization. |
