| Abstract: | The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) decided to carry out an important development, i.e. to build out telephone network worldwide by the early part of the next century. Of course it would facilitate also getting and transmitting news. A further aim is to develop satellite services making possible also for developing countries to set up networks for education, health and other services. |
