| Abstract: | In a seminar on earth station developments it was told that the voice usage on transponder had decreased significantly. At the same time video and data requirements have been growing. About 298 000 earth stations are operating using Ku-band which is becoming the appropriate technology. It was further established that in TVRO technology the DBS flat plate antenna has a future. |
