| Abstract: | Owing to the market demands, satellite broadcasting technology has considerably changed in recent years. There has been a strong drive for domestic and international interconnectivity. The changes include widespread ownership of satellite receiving equipment, digitization, multichannel sound, increasing integration of services, and custom-tailored networking. Now satellite broadcasters are preparing for HDTV era. These changes are most dramatically felt by the commercial radio business. |
