| Abstract: | The planned merger between Time Inc. and Warner Communications Inc. would create a home video group with a market share of 15-17%. It's unclear whether they will remain autonomous or will eventually merge into one larger home video conglomeration. Time Inc.'s HBO Video arm has a market share of 4-5% playing an important role in non-theatrical area. It can complement Warner's almost exclusive concentration on theatrical titles. |
