| Abstract: | Current developments in rural areas call for co-operation by governments, business and other economic agents. With the decline of agriculture, there has been a move towards diversification, and there have been striking demographic changes too. Besides, rural areas have become the guards of ecological assets. Decentralisation has increased regional initiatives. The solution to all these changes can be found in programs built on all tiers of government sometimes even internationally. |
