| Abstract: | Broadcast Communications accepted the 12.4 million pound takeover bid from its largest shareholder, The Guardian and Manchester Evening News /GMEN/. This deal has proved that there's a change in attitude regarding investment in the independent production sector. Broadcast Communications produces Channel 4's Business Daily, and was the winner of the contract to provide coverage of the House of Commons. |
