| Abstract: | One problem in dealing with alcoholics and alcoholism is that there is no definitive diagnostic procedure or assessment criteria. There are certain questions, however, that can help the interviewer make informed conclusions about the individual. These questions focus on first-level assessment and are based on the various stages of alcoholism and the characteristics that are most prevalent in each phase. |
