Abstract: | A frequent criticism of vocational training is that it fails to provide what employers need and students want. In many countries principals of training institutions often have little idea of, or interest in, what happens to their graduates. To correct the supply/demand mismatches, trainers obviously need to know when and who they are off the mark. But even when such information is available, it may be ignored. An effective system of incentives and sanctions is needed to reward those who make necessary changes and punish those who do not. studied. |
