| Abstract: | As the use of illicit drugs has increased in the past years a growing number of employers have adopted drug testing programs. This study deals with the relationship between drug-test results and absenteeism, turnover, injuries and accidents. The results showed that whereas there is significant association between illicit drug abuse and absenteeism or involuntary turnover, this cannot be detected in injury or accident occurrence. |
