Abstract: | This article focuses on judicial mediation. It investigates the impact that judges' mediations have on the out of court settlement of civic cases. It looks at the number of techniques they use and their assertiveness. Two studies have been conducted in this respect and the results provide evidence that the number of mediation techniques used by a judge and the assertiveness of those techniques increase the likelihood of out of court settlement. |
