Abstract:The conscious left side of the brain is responsible for verbalising. It is very logical, analytical, and organized in its thinking process. On the other hand, the right side of the brain is the unconscious side. It is the creative side which is responsible for visualising. It is shown that left-brain time management approaches for right-brain dominated individuals lead to frustration and are doomed to failure. New theories and approaches in time management are focusing on the right or intuitive side of the brain. Effective time management should balance the use of both sides of the brain to increase productivity and creativity.
