| Abstract: | More and more UK employers are introducing policies to challenge harassment and reduce the serious consequences it has for both individuals and organizations. The author looks at a range of practical measures, including those taken by British Gas and Whitbread Inns. Developing an effective harassment policy presents significant challenges to the personnel function, but the experience of organizations who have done so provide valuable pointers to how those challenges can be met. |
