| Abstract: | The looking East & West music conference assessed the prospects of the Eastern European music markets. At present these prospects are limited by the problem of piracy in the area. At the end of the conference there was an overwhelming consensus that copyright protection urgently needs improving, that Western music industry should offer investment and training in the East. |
