Abstract: | Proactive teaching methods are being introduced in MBA course against the prevalent tradition of lecturing. Severe limitations concern experienced teachers and teaching materials.A spread of didactic methods is introduced gradually (proactive lectures, Harvard cases, live cases, free-form games and role-playing, decision-making simulations, projects etc.)The use and effectiveness of these methods in the specific culture are discussed: less structured proactive methods shall have priority initially. The shortage of teachers shall gradually be resolved by training them in proactive methods and simulate them accordingly.The distinct didactic model used in FBE-MBA could be advantageously used for managerial training in many post-socialist countries. |
