Abstract:The authors report on a data presentation technique using triangles to display data upon triads or triplets. The use of the technique is demonstrated on a variety of consumer behaviour related data, such as frequency of product usage and brand adoption, market share profiles of major competitive brands and brand switching. Illustrations are supplied to show the technique's ability to provide insight that is of help to market researchers in understanding cross-sectional and time series data.
