| Abstract: | Noel Hyndman and Robert Anderson highlight the importance of Executive Agencies disclosing information on their performance as a means of discharging accountability. With reference to their recent research findings, the authors suggest that although there are still many problems to be resolved there is evidence of improvement over time. A number of important issues regarding the use of performance measures in external reporting are also discussed. |
