| Abstract: | During the period of the Eighth Five-Year Plan, the greater increase in the investment in fixed assets, to a certain extent, led to inflation though it had promoted the high- speed development of national economy. Overall , the investment structure has improved remarkably, but the input in agriculture is obviously insufficient and thus there is a trend that the gap between the eastern area and the central and western areas is widening. Although there have been better macro investment returns, the investment results of large-sized and medium-sized enterprises are not so good. During the period of the Ninth Five-Year Plan, the policy orientation should be to reform the investment system, increase the proportion of the central revenue and input in agriculture , and standardize capital markets. |
