Abstract:Interest in supply chain relations has grown alongside the enhanced awareness of the importance of bought-in goods to the quality of the customer's end product. Quality affects all aspects of performance, not just product quality but also delivery dates of times, rejection rates, and other qualitative dimensions. This paper tries to shed some light on the different sorts of relationships that may be involved in this heterogeneous category. In building relationships, how deeply do customers look into the internal activities of suppliers?
