Abstract:There are two basic patterns for the reform of State-owned enterprises. One is called "shock treatment" or " big explosion", the other is called "incremental reform". The former is adopted by Russia and has caused a series of serious social economic problems. The latter is adopted by China and generally speaking it is successful but also fragmentary and has brought about a lot of contradictions. For example, facing the market large and medium-sized enterprises don't know what to do. If we don't accelerate the process of reform or the reform is obstructed and all the contradictions, big or small, accumulate, there is also the possibility of " big explosion".
