| Abstract: | This article emphasizes the importance of research of garden visiting for gardens have a significant role in the enjoyment of leisure time. Using a survey of 546 visitors in 13 gardens in Great Britain this article identifies the characteristics and motivations of garden visitors. Finally, the social aspects and market issues considering visiting gardens are discussed. |
