| Abstract: | The article discusses the developments in forming a research leaders' community in European business and management schools. In 2003, the British Academy of Management(BAM) and the Association of Business Schools(ABS) joined forces to launch a new program for Directors of Research(DoRs). Inspired by BAM/ABS programs' success and hoping to increase the research capacity in Europe, EFMD and the European Academy of Management(EURAM) built together a Research Leadership program in 2008 to support European DoRs. |
