| Abstract: | Management training and development in the United Kingdom has been a subject of increasing debate. The main message coming from this debate is: do more; there is a growing number of companies who want to develop their managers and who are currently working towards the best means of achieving this goal. Shown are the practices and preoccupations of those companies who have made a commitment do develop their managers and are discovering what is involved in translating this commitment into a workable process. |
