| Abstract: | The RSI phenomenon /repetitive strain injury/ has become a grave problem among white-collar workers. A very substantial group of people work at VDUs /visual display unit/ over long periods of time thus being exposed to conditions that are bad for their health. The article calls attention to the poor working conditions and practices. It also gives some suggestions for safety policies because it is the management's responsibility to create appropriate conditions where the risk of RSI is the lowest. |
