| Abstract: | A new CD series, "The Compact Selection" has been launched in London retailing at about $7.20.It contains 50 classical, jazz, and easy listening titles. Pop or rock are not planned. Now they are available only through Boots' chains but later other nontraditional stores will be involved. The aim is to widen the customer base and to boost hardware business too. |
