| Abstract: | The ITV Association /ITVA/ has accepted the government's wish to extend the influence of market forces in broadcasting. ITVA lists four criteria which the tendering system must satisfy. ITVA supports the IBA's suggestion of a contract pricing option. ITVA stresses that market forces cannot be extended at the expense of programme quality. |
