| Abstract: | The serious changes which presently confront the banking industry are results of the economic situation at this time. The realization of work processes through the use of new technologies may be seen as the key to problem solving in banking. The results presented in the paper are based on a project with the aim of developing a strategy for the use of personal computers. The project was conducted in cooperation with the author in a bank in Upper Austria. The complexity bound to the planning and introduction of new technologies requires broad specialist knowledge and the application of methods aiming at personnel and social goals as well. |
