| Abstract: | According to the statistics of the Ministry of Finance, the total amount of China's state-owned assets reached RMB 822.11 billion (US$100.02 billion) at the end of 1998, rising 13.8% compared with 1997. Among them, the state-owned managerial assets reached RMB 624.05 billion (US$75 billion) i.e.75.9% of the total, rising 15.4% compared with the last year, and the state-owned non-managerial assets RMB 198.06 billion (US$25.02 billion),i.e. 24.1% of the total, rising 9.3% compared with the last year. |
