Abstract:This article reviews the theory and practice of innovation management. The article highlights the importance of understanding the needs of today's customers and their future expectations. Firms can achieve competitiveness and success by balancing both the exploitation and exploration of their capabilities and incremental and radical innovations. However, usually organizations have had difficulties in combining these requirements.
