Abstract:The shop window began its history at the end of last century when glass sheets and illumination as technical problems were solved. Since than the shop window became one of the most important medias of publicity. But still we are largely ignorant about the content of shop windows and the structure of the population bypassing. Future research has to reveal these data in order to enhance the efficiency of window dressing.
