Abstract:The author points out the strategic meaning of opening up China's rural market and indicates the features of the rural market: 1. China's rural market has great potentialities, but there exists obviour gaps in incomes of the rural residents. 2. the development of the rural market shows obvious stages. The author presents his suggestions: 1. the companies should change their old views and pay attention to the rural market as another market space to realize the development of companies. 2. companies should regard the counties as the bases to open up the rural market. 3. companies should use marketing forms and ways which are suitable with peasants' demand.
