Abstract:Pfeffer's plea for regaining relevance in management research might be easier to execute in Europe than in the US. History and progress have made Europe a place where an eclectic array of research approaches have been produced in multicultural setting. this heterogeneity is in danger of dilution by powerful US research hegemony. The article offers some hope for a distinctive European response.
