| Abstract: | A closed-loop conveyor system having a single loading and multiple unloading stations is considered. Units to be transported on the conveyor system are of the same type and have the same length and are placed on the conveyor along their length. Interarrival times of products to the conveyor system as well as service times of the servers at the unloading stations are all known and deterministic. An arriving unit at the loading station of the conveyor system is blocked when it interferes with the re-circulating units of that conveyor system. |
