| Abstract: | The subjects of the paper are tax return preparation industry in United States and review of national Association of Tax Practitioners. The author of the article reports on the results of a 2001 survey conducted by the National Association of Tax Practitioners, regarding the use of tax preparation software products in the United States. The author pays an attention to the rankings of the software products and to the growth of the use of electronic filing. article also considers the percentage of respondents who charge a separate fee for electronic filing services and states that most products continued to get high marks. Use of electronic filing was gaining, and fewer preparers planned to charge for service this tax year. |
