| Abstract: | Monetarilization of housing allocation is the direction of reform of housing allocation system. It may prevent the newly built houses from entering the old housing system again and correct the twisted consumption behavior of urban residents, thus making housing the "hot point" of consumption. Besides, the shift of housing allocation mechanism from giving the hidden subsidies for housing in the past to open subsidies will have the following advantages: It would help solve the long-standing problems in housing allocation, such as unfair distribution and malpractices between units and individuals. Moreover, it would help make the investment, construction, distribution and management systems of housing get in the virtuous circle. |
