Abstract: | Quality and information are mentioned as the main consumerism issues over the next few years. European managers were asked to assess the responsibility of business, government and consumers in three consumer protection area. Managers favor a clear-cut sharing of responsibility, with each party involved having full responsibility for a specific area. The most constructive consumer programmes were selected. Upgrading quality and conducting more consumer research are the dominant choices. Consumerism is described as an important part of marketing environment. Responsibility of company management is analyzed. |
