Abstract:Globalization of investment activities and establishment of highly integrated transnational corporate networks have made multinational companies vulnerable to transnational harm. It seems that neither current international law nor investment treaties protect foreign investors in cases of violation of an investment agreement. The article presents a principle of compensation for transboundary harm.
