| Abstract: | The authors followed up an earlier investigation into accountants' perceptions of investment-appraisal techniques by focusing on the wider processes of investment decision-making and particularly on managers' perceptions of these processes. They were granted access to a UK division of a US high-technology multinational and through a series of in-depth interviews with some of the key players investigated attitudes to four technology-investment decisions. |
