Abstract:Purpose of this article is to examine how ethical consumers locate themselves and their practices within and in relation to wider market and practices of consumption. The study is based on semi-structured in-depth interviews. The findings show the process through which ethical consumption is constructed and defined in relation to the subject position of the ethical consumer.
