Abstract: | The purpose of measuring performance on any business process is so that you can do it better the next time around, this is as true of product creation as it is of manufacturing, purchasing, or distribution. The two kinds of process measures are end-of-process measures and in-process measures. End-of-process measures help you measure results. In-process measures assess what is going on in real time and allow you to manage it to get the desired results. Measuring how well the company uses resources, you should also compare performance with that at other companies or other teams within the company. |
