| Abstract: | A lot managers in high-technology firms don't believe that long-range planning can work owing to the rapid changes in the highly competitive marketplace. Some argue that strategic planning undermines flexibility in high-tech industries. Examining strategic planning we have come to the conclusion that interacting strategies have a major influence on financial performance in the year following implementation. |
