| Abstract: | The present article deals with the predominance of subcontracting in the smaller industry and the changes in the subcontracting positions of small business firms in the economic depression of 1975-1978. There are four different subcontracting positions. Small firms can stay outside the subcontracting activity, or take part in it as buyer, seller, or both buyer and seller of subcontracted goods. |
