| Abstract: | The transformation of the GDR economy requires investment and managerial talent. The process is already underway, every FRG firm is involved in some kind of acquisition. The article gives advice to Western and Eastern managers how to behave in this situation (Westerners should not be arrogant, should use empathy, Easterners should be flexible, mind the customer, favour Western markets, learn languages etc.). |
