Abstract: | In 2004, Atlantis Systems International was a company facing hard times following the decline of its industry after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. R&D budgets had evaporated and there was uncertainty and morale was low etc. This article presents a case study of the firm's transformation into a knowledge-centric organization, powered by the use of expert learning patterns, professional development programs, custom technology and a strong emphasis on core values making it one of the fastest growing technology firms in Canada. |
