Abstract:Media comprehension and recall studies over the years have suggested that learning from TV news is difficult because TV news cannot be reread. But several recent psychological studies suggest that it is possible that memories remain in storage and they may be summoned if the proper cues are encountered. The Search of Associative Memory (SAM) theory helps to explain the theoretical underpinnings of the hypermnesia effect.
