Abstract:This study investigates China's rapid economic development using a framework of information codification and diffusion. The emergent features of China's economic order are analyzed with reference to business system developing there, in particular the form of capitalism, the nature of market arrangements, and the role of government within the system. The decentralization from the former statecommand system is giving rise to network capitalism.
