| Abstract: | The Chinese government needs to encourage the strategy to plan for a future China which would be rich in skills as well as capital. Greater participation of multinational business activity from the triad of the USA, Japan and the European Union can speed up the process. This article tries to apply the Porter-Dunning framework to the analysis of China's competitive advantage. A brief review of the diamond theory is presented and the current situation and prospects for China's international competitiveness are discussed. |
