| Abstract: | This paper presents the results of a sample survey conducted both in Singapore and in South California regarding the extent of use of telecommuting. The results indicate that telecommuting is used significantly more in California than in Singapore. However, this situation may be changing due to the recent interest in telecommuting in Singapore. The study also identified the major motivators and drawbacks for the use of telecommuting as perceived by managers in both countries. |
